Free-Form Organic Wall Art
My free-form mixed-media,bas-reliefs (wall sculptures and bowls) are inspired by the color, light, movement, and textures of organic form found in the desert Southwest and along the Pacific coast.
Each is hand-sculpted in an eco-friendly clay infused with natural fiber and painted with layers of translucent acrylic glazes. Some spiral out from a heart of free-form beaded crochet that invites touch. Wired-in beads catch and reflect light. They are meditative and playful, meant to spark your imagination.
